How are bookkeepers vetted?+
All bookkeeper members must submit proof of their claimed certifications (QBO ProAdvisor badge screenshot, Xero certificate, etc.) which our team reviews within 48 hours. The Verified badge additionally requires E&O insurance documentation and client references.
What is the client handoff system?+
The handoff system lets bookkeepers post confidential listings for clients they need to transition — whether due to niche mismatch, capacity, or scope change. The client’s name is never revealed until both bookkeepers agree to connect. All Pro and Pro+ members can post and receive handoffs.
